The series consists of thirty-nine pieces, created in 2003, using tempera paint and pencils on paper. The tempera is applied fluidly to the paper, which is completely wet with water, using various tools, such as sponges, droppers, sticks, and brushes.
It was exhibited in its entirety in the Giovannella Berni 20001-2011 exhibition in Portoferraio and in the Dialogues Around the Fire exhibition in Florence. Part of the Water Lilies series was exhibited at The Holy Art gallery in London.
Echoes of Color is a series of non-geometric abstracts, where the fluid material of the paint and the pencils suggest the themes of water lilies, characters, and landscapes.
